This option is also developing faster than other such technologies. However, many home and business owners do not understand what makes LED lighting so great.
LED lights are actually only the size of a fleck of pepper. They are clustered in mixes of red, green, and blue in order to create white light. However, any color can be achieved with LED lighting. Better yet, many LED lights can be adjusted for color and temperature.
Additionally, LEDs emit light in a single direction. This may not sound significant but it is something we at Winstar Lighting Technologies think people should understand better. Due to this directionality, LED lights don’t need reflectors or diffusers to direct light. This allows them to be much more energy efficient.
Finally, LEDs convert the majority of energy used to light rather than heat. This means that they can run at a lower temperature than more traditional lighting sources. As such, they are the ideal choice for a wide range of uses in which temperature is a concern.
